How to install Microsoft Office 365

Install Microsoft 365 on
Windows PC
The very first step in trying to install, reinstall or repair
Office 365 on Windows PC is to associate microsoft365.com/setup with a Microsoft
account. If you have an Office account linked with your Microsoft account You
are now able to install Office for the first time. install Office or install
Office on another PC.
The second step is installing Office. Microsoft allows the owner
of Office 365 Home subscription to install Office for up to 5 PCs. This gives
you the opportunity to share four of your installations with your family and
acquaintances. It isn't necessary to set up additional Microsoft accounts.

Office. The following screen will be displayed on your screen. Once the
installation is completed it will ask you to activate it.
- Log in with your
NetID and Patriot Pass password. After following the directions and you'll
be able to use Microsoft Office on your computer.
Pre-installation steps for
Office 365 Mac and PC
Before starting, make sure that your Mac or Windows PC is
compatible with the system requirements.
Are you a Microsoft Account holder? All versions of Office 365
need one. You can create one using an email address that you already have.
If you're installing Office for the first time, there could be
additional steps you need to take before you get started. Here are some
examples:
- If you purchased
your Office for Home plan came with a code for the product then you must
login to your Microsoft Account and redeem the key.
- If you have an
Office for Business plan, you won't have the possibility of installing
desktop applications unless you've been granted an authorization.

Office 365
Office 365 subscriptions have enabled many institutions of higher

www.office.com/setup. If you're transferring an existing suite of programs from
one machine to the next, you log in with the Microsoft account created at the
time that the program was first activated. If you're installing Office 2016 or
later, they will remain connected.
You can access your account for downloading Office applications.
To keep access to the internet and offline this guide will require you to input
your username and password. It is recommended to uninstall Office programs from
an older machine prior to installing newer versions.
